ive noticed that ladies are loud out on the golf course. im positive today they were playing a comp. but the amount of squeeling and loud chat was off putting. in fact twice i had to give a group the stare twice. when i play saturday im VERY aware of my fellow golfers around the course.

im sure the ladies on here are proper golfers, but do you find this aswell. honestly it was nearly like the tennis with all the high pitched squeeling and yelps of excitement.:whoo:

Pity your course awareness doesn't extend to forums where's you're quite happy to assault us visually with four emoticons in one post!!
(would have liked to put in a smiley to indicate this is a joke but it would defeat my own argument)

One forum I know limits to three per post. Good idea IMO!

Had no issues with that at my old club, all the women were perfect gentlemen....

There are very few ladies at our course.

They are probably more considerate than most of the men that play there.

They actually let you through when they are holding play up.

My misses got her first birdie 2 on the par 3 13th last week..

Apparently you could hear the squeel from the clubhouse, and the lap of honour around the green was funny to watch.

:D

One issue I have found with this is that Ladies voices tend to carry more across the golf course. No idea why this should be. It isn't a volume thing, it's more the pitch.

Loud at my club too Davie and some wander aimlessly from green to the next tee, in fact 1 decided to walk across the path of our tee whilst my son was in his back swing with the driver and needless to say he didn't hold back. It certainly woke her up, she nearly kecked her drawers and was very apologetic.

not too many problems with the ladies down our way. if there is a whole group of them at the first we just jump ahead to the third. i dont find that they take too long as they have slow swing speeds and generally hit the ball straight.

I think the OP is probably more aware of the female voice than most.
Not really noticed much difference but probably 'The Lads' seem to make more noise.

At one of my old clubs there was a member who was a very loud 'Brian Blessed' sort of guy.
You did tend to notice the Saturdays he did not play

Cant agree its a ladies only problem but loud people on golf courses are a pain , we have a past captain thats a clown , very loud & inconsiderate , he's a banker ( no realy thats his job) but if you thought i just mis spelled a word you would be right ther also

i must say tho i have no problem with a reaction to holing a good putt/chip in or hole in one , they are natrual reactions , its the loud ones chatting away not considering others as they do , or the clown that bellows across the fairway to his partners , they are the ones that bug me ..

:mmm:point of this post is???????? Just appears to be a fire stoker. We can all be as bad as each other. What about the blokes that you hear screaming 'BITE!' at the ball, when they have just hit a 7 iron 10 foot off the deck...

Everyone is as bad as each other. I consider myself to be a reasonably considerate golfer, but I have at times shouted at my ball, not that it is going to listen to you, but it just makes you feel like you have at least tried..

Mine too!

t.b.h. it makes me happy to hear people take 5 shots to reach our longest holes and enjoy their golf more than me. :)

I love our Ladies. 5 wood to a short par 3, tap in for a "2".
