Don't worry, this is easily removed with a bit of soapy water. I actually found it helps with the ball flight though
Mm, the 52's were a replacement for the MX25.I'm not sure i would agree with you, it says suitable for low. if you go and hold a 57 next to a 52 you will know what i mean. Plus 57 are five years older and they must have changed the dot system slightly. MP60 on this chart says Low to mid and they are far less forgivimg than 57 with a smaller head.

I didn't want to rub it in, but since you mentioned it, mine were £150. They were second hand though (though they don't look it), so £200 brand spankers (assuming this is the case) is very good money.
could there possibly be anything significant that two new/nearly new sets of MP57 have been bought for (cough) Nicklaus money?

Maybe!
But it's probably more due to the fact that they're over 5 years old now.
Mine are definitely "used" but have been well looked after.

My set have just 9 months medium usage. Apparently the guy didn't like them and traded them in for something else.

There is a brand new set of mp 52's on ebay 4-W £329 including postage. Now that is a bargain for a great set of irons.

S300 in my ons, will be perfect for me I bet! The main thing is the clubs sit so much better than the old ones (were too heavy in the head and sat very flat for some reason)

Which is why I think at £25 a club in the condition they are that I have a steal on my hands, as does anyone who buys the clubs from Alex1975, those are in pretty much the same condition as mine I assume. I have only sligth kincks on the 7-PW and the 6-4 look as if they have done only a few weekends and range sessions. The 3 iron looks brand new, not for long, I am sure it will become a favourite of mine soon!
This is all such a big deal for me as this is my first ever set of "proper" irons, not some beginners cheapo.
Still change is hard, I cannot help worry that I might have made a wrong choice. Couple that with the fact I have now donated my old irons to the range (cant get them back now!!!), couple that with the fact I cannot play for at least another 10 days thanks to my nose not healing from my surgery properly.
I have to be content with swinging them in the lounge until then
