Just adding to this to get my posts up, but is it really about playing a t100 venue etc? If the greens are true and the bacon rolls are good, it surely has to be about the banter and bragging rights? (Within reason)

Forest of Arden is pretty central?

2hrs 45mins from Southampton, but 5hrs from Glasgow.
3hrs 30mins from N upon T to Forest of Arden.

I'm thinking the Willow Valley suggestion is a good one. Or even Forest Pines.

Lake district area is pretty central in the UK. I'm sure there's got to be some stunners around there!

Similar for anyone in Falmouth where my cousin lives. Inverness is nearer to Preston than Falmouth is by about 20 miles by road.

If I was getting together with my Inverness cousins Kendal is almost exactly half way between us 👍 (and I’m only 35miles from the south coast).
