So with the Burner name being phased out will they now come out with a replacement ball range too? I've used the Burner Tour balls before and thought they were quite good for the £20 per dozen range.

I wonder if they will come out with Rocketballz balls

i cant see why TM have spent almost 20 years establishing burner as a brand, only to drop it for what sounds like a kids computer game. Not sure if its clever marketing to try and appeal to a new client base that previous disliked burners, or a total marketing mistake. Suppose only time will tell.

So as in a couple of years they can re-launch it to a massive fanfare.

Has it been confirmed that the Burner name is being phased out?

I'm in complete agreement that "if" the Burner band is being dropped, whoever came up with Rocketballz needs to either a) Grow up, or b) GROW UP!!

Can you imagine telling your friends "I'm off for a Rocketballz fitting"

I would rather admitt to playing Ping :smirk:

To be fair OS, Dustin could probably hit a Dunlop special from SporsDirect that far. The man is scary long.

TM should have stuck with the TP black and red. Wonderful balls and every bit as good as the Pro V. The Burner TP is a decent 3 piece ball at a good price and I'm sure they'll keep something of that ilk to retain their market share in the mid-price section. Isn't there a new version of the Penta coming out next year anyway
