Well....I consider this a positive topic. Being an old track and field person and coach.....22 year old American won the 5,000 last night in Oslo with a new "outdoor" American record (indoor record a second faster this last winter)....and George Mills breaks the UK record as well. Technically I have run on this track.....the finish of the 1981 Oslo marathon was on the track. I also ran in the first London marathon the same year.

Kings Official Birthday today (not really News I guess - anyway...) - and earlier whilst playing, the Red Arrows flew over close by...always grand seeing that flight.

A lot of grim and worrying events these last few days, weeks and months - to the extent that I'm pretty much switching off watching the News...and cutting down hugely on the news and opinion channels on YouTube that I watch. There is nothing that I can do about any of it...and taking it all onboard with the possible consequences is too disturbing for me to carry around.
