not sure if any of you saw Bubba's tweet last night but he's put a new PING driver in play in Hawaii this week
we can't tell you much more than Bubba did - its called 'G' and its new - burt sure we'll have some more info we can share in the near future

Saw this on Twitter - Very exciting. Looks like some interesting patterns on the crown - composite perhaps? With TM and Nike doing the same thing maybe PING are doing so? I think its unlikely but there was definitely some funky crownage going on.

Also love the fact that everyone keeps droning on about how inconsistent Bubba's swing is, yet here he is again hitting driver off the deck as if its a hybrid. Flight looked ok on it as well.

Don't know if anyone else saw that PING have filed for a patent on face design? Involving structures behind the face to modify vibration at impact. Thinking is, if you can manipulate the vibration of the face, you can alter how the ball reacts from it to get another way of increasing forgiveness on off centre hits. Something for the future perhaps?
