AG have the TM Burner irons for £299 at the minute - I hit these last year and hit them as well as anything else.

My pro has said he match their price so hopefully a week from today they'll be mine!!!

Been to the range today, the first time in four month. My physio thinks it the the right thing to do in my back recovery.

Only hit twenty balls with 8i and SW, and appear to have survived!!!

I know!! :)

I drove past the M-way junction for AG today at xxx mph to avoid the temptation.

Luckily for me, a Bentley Cont' GT came up behind me and wanted to get past, so I chilled in the inside lane at 69 mph for a few miles.....good thing too, on the next bridge an unmarked car was clocking speeders.

They've stopped me there before, I don't think "I was avoiding shiny new clubs" would be a good defence.....

:)

just got a set, played 3 rounds since thursday and love them, hitting them like a dream compared to my Pings which I never gave much of a chance tbh. Bargain at the price and like you, a pro shop in arbroath matched the price and done a great deal on other clubs too.

Just waiting to hear back from my pro about next Saturday - I was going to wait until after Easter until I went to the range at the weekend.

I now think it was teh Burner Plus I hit last year, rather than the Burner.

What's the difference? The Burner plus are another £100ish.
