New Bargains Thread

Looking for a decent golf ball deal if anyone knows of any 😎
What sort of ball do you like to play and realistically what do you class as a good deal.

Seed do a couple of excellent tour level balls for £30 a dozen depending on if you want 3 or 4 piece. Also do a good value 2 piece ball.

Vice balls are decent but they’re creeping up in price. Mizuno balls are pretty damn good as well and often some great deals on them and places like Clubhouse Golf and Affordable golf.

Clubhouse Golf has a deal on Mizuno RB Tour balls, which are quality balls.
I ended up with loads of these when somewhere was selling 2 ball samplers for £1 or something (it was mentioned here) and really like them - just seem a nice balance of characteristics without being extreme in anything. Not run out yet but will get more when I do if they stay at this price.

I think that’s the old 2024/2025 model of the ball they’re selling on as the new one is out in some places already. But it’s a wonderful ball and for that price an absolute bargain

They are the older version. Still a great ball however wouldn't class them as a bargain as all year they were normally 3 dozen for £90 in places.

I personally think £60 for 2 dozen tour level balls is an absolute bargain. Especially when you consider the ProV1 equivalent is £52 for a dozen.

£90 is even more of a bargain for 3 dozen.

Do many amateurs buy ProV1 for the standard dozen price anymore? They're so expensive these days.

I just go with Srixon AD333, which just seems like a really great value ball. I've done that for the last few years now. They tend to do good offers on them and I take advantage, so it usually works out at about £15ish for 12.

I remember one of the YouTube golfers did tests on Srixon balls a few years back, and the difference in distance and spin compared with the AD333, QTour, and ZStar weren't particularly drastic.

Yeah - when I checked the latest MyGolfSpy ball test, I was surprised to see ProV1 was one of the best fits for me (I previously thought they were only good for faster swingers). But there's just no way I'm ever switching to a ball that costs 50 quid a box. That's mental. I pretty much just ignore Titleist completely when choosing a ball now.

Loads of people must do, because I find more pro V1's than any other ball.

I found one in the rough on the 1st last week, shiny and new, had obviously only been used for 1 tee shot. At over £4 a ball it's no wonder people want to spend more than 3 minutes looking for their ball. I'll be using it in the summer (hopefully for more than one shot).
