But you’ll wear a Spurs top 😉

I genuinely don’t care what other people think of what I’m wearing, if they’re judging me that says more about them than the choice of attire I’m adorned in.
Actually, nope. Similar thing, I used to wear them to play football or go to watch a match, but I don't wear football shirts casually. I think I judge those that do as a typical thick tribal football fan and I don't want someone to judge me the same way. My Spurs shirts have sat untouched in the drawer for the last year or two now.

I was joking bud but genuinely stop caring what others think and wear what you want. 👍

The golf polos I like are the super-stretchy ones, that are like 5-10% elastane or spandex. That's where they differ from a casual polo I'd wear, which would be 100% polyester or cotton.

I must admit though, I do have a thing about not wearing obvious golf clothing outside of the golf environment. Like, I would never wear a Footjoy or Callaway, or Druids polo out and about for example. But I would be ok with Under Armour or CK ones because they are known brands outside of golf. I can't really articulate why this is, it's like I think people would like at me and think "look at that sad-act wearing a golf polo to the shops, what a loser".
Most of my polo's are Adidas and Nike and it's all I wear really. Don't have space in my wardrobe for "normal" polos as it's all taken up with golf gear. Even on holiday last Feb the hotel had said "tailored shorts in the dining area" so I just wore my golf shorts every night.

Definitely wouldn’t know then as I won’t entertain paying Galvin Green, Lindberg etc prices for a Polo shirt I genuinely see no need to spend that much on something that’s adds no real benefit or function for the name !

I definitely couldn’t be a catwalk model though unless the 7 dwarves bring out a clothing label 🤣
Thought the same until I got a Galvin Green one in a sale for £25. Now I'm constantly on the lookout for them, found the fit and quality much better than an Adidas or Nike one. Unfortunately the GG one is no longer usable on the course due the butter running out my toast and onto the polo.

£25 is fine when you get it the sale etc but I refuse to pay £80+ for a polo shirt which is where they and similar brands retail at.

I’m not a big fan of Adidas either tbh, the quality of the brand has really deteriorated in recent years. I like Under Armour, Castore, Puma, Lyle and Scott etc. But even then I buy all mine through the outlet retail stores they have as you get much better VFM all from buying effectively last seasons designs and I’m cool with that 😊

Works brilliantly. Rescued my mid blue JL polo that was assaulted by a smash burger.

On the price of polo shirts... I would love one of those Adidas Originals polos, as they look great. But they're also £60... I just can't see that a polo shirt can ever be worth that much.

Of course, lots of people disagree and they will happily pay that much. It just seems a bit mad to me though when you factor in that there are plenty of decent quality polos available for half that price, or sometimes even less.

Outlet stores are your friend here, I’m same as you I refuse to pay that for a polo shirt when I can get equally of not better quality for less in non golf specific brands.

Castore are £65 roughly per polo. I buy there ones in the Outlet store for less than £15 a shirt, there are bargains to be had if your willing to have last seasons models, same goes for Adidas.

Or go to the States ( as I did when it was 2 $ to the £) and came home with the second suitcase almost full of polo's.
When youre paying $5 (not forgetting the exchange rate ) it's "why wouldn't you"
Most are still in excellent condition, but a few have shrunk in the wardrobe ;)
TBH I find Ping polo's excellent quality, and the few Ashworths also good.
Having 65 polos does mean they don't get a lot of wear ;)

Long way to go to pick up a few polo shirts 🤣

There’s almost zero chance of me ever going to America so I may miss those deals.

Never had any Ping clothing so can’t really comment. But I do have a a few Ashworth Polo shirts that I’ve had a long time, great quality to be fair , wash really well and never lost any shape so that is a great shout.

I'm aware of sales and outlet stores. Adidas Originals so far at least, seemingly have some sort of price controls on them. I think the lowest I've seen a polo for is £48, which is still too much imo.

Only Couple of little purchases today, a day out in London and came across a shop I’d never seen before called Capital Golf just off Oxford St.

Got Mrs M a pair of FJ WinterSoft Gloves, also an Adidas Golf dress even though it’s to cold to wear right now apparently she needed it as it has “Pockets and built in shorts” 🤣

Bought myself a Couple newly released Puma flowery Polo shirts as well. Could’ve spent a fortune in there it was a proper hidden gem of a shop tardis like in size and really well equipped.
