not sure it was deleted first time, but any comments good or bad are welcome.

p.s ignore the missus!!

Swing is ok and looks like you're shortish distance wise and reasonably accurate?

Main thing that sticks out: your lower body doesn't contribute much to swing. Seems you hit ball with arms only. Freezing vid at impact, your posture shows your legs in a near identical position at address - no knee flex or lifting of right foot to show any weight transfer. Hip and shoulder lines are identical in being target line straight.

My opinion: Work on getting slightly more knee bend at address to give more athletic lower body posture. On upswing, try to turn shoulders away while keeping lower body quietish. At top, you should have knee flex on both, with more flex in left knee. Weight distribution depends on what method you use (Stack and tilt, etc. That's a different thread! ;)) Start downswing with a rotation of left hip or knee, then shoulders will 'catch up' or lag as its called. At impact, right heel should be up a bit in air, hips openish and shoulders slight open to target line (if done right, this should naturally happen rather than forced). Hopefully, this should promote a hit with the body rather than just arms. This will need good practice and dedication though - seek your local pro though in all cases.

Good luck. :D

Those distances "aren't great"? Guess I should give up then! :(

150-160 yards for a 7 iron is MORE than fine IMHO.

No worries

I wouldn't call those distances short...more like above average.
