Quick question, I'm in the market for a new trolley and have decided to go electric. My pro shop stocks motocaddy and I was looking at the new S1 but am looking at the difference between the extended range against the standard.

Does anyone use the extended or has experience with them, is it worth the extra £50?

The standard battery will do 36 holes for the first year and then it will degrade after that - extended will do 36 holes for a couple of years and then degrade

If you aren’t looking to do many 36 holes then it may not be worth it

Thanks Phil, I rarely do more than 18 holes so that's perfect.

I just bought the M1? with the standard battery. After 18 holes I don't even lose one power light.....I think 36 holes would be easy. A year from now.....now idea.....

I've had my M3 20 months and its worked hard in that time...
18 hole battery - still doesn't lose a bar on the power meter...
