Hi all,

Hope all is well. This month, we want to know how many hours you spend at your golf club (or any golf club) each week, on average. This includes playing, practicing, eating/drinking and socialising. Obviously it varies dependant on season so an average estimate will be just fine.

As always, all responses are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Taking a week during the comp season, I'll probably play 1 weekend and 1 mid week round each with a bit of time in the bar after, some bits on the practice green as well.

I'd say about 11-12 hours, give or take each week.

Oh crikey! Went for 20-30 as an average but would be over 30 some weeks. If I was more sociable it would definitely be over 30 but try to just range/play some days rather than spend another hour in the clubhouse...

In summer it would normally be 1 round in competition plus a couple of 9 hole practice rounds.
Average this out to a bit less in winter, I've said 5-10 hours, being nearer to 10 than 5.

Ive really no idea, we have a good 5 months when i only play on a sat morning during the winter, but come summer it could be over 30 no problem.

Now I don't belong to a Golf Club, so I answered as for a Golf Course.

I put between 5 - 10. That includes a weekly round of either 18 or 9 holes, and about 2 sessions on the range (usually an hour long). The clubs near me are open to nonmembers too, so will often have a coffee after a round.

I suspect when summer comes I will be round a lot more often as that also opens up the evenings for me to play, since I only get back from work at 7pm I only have time to play on weekends so limits my time spent at courses and clubs.

I've voted 5-10
Cos I've been sidelined and only just started playing again (twice in 2015)....

It used to be 20-30hrs
But I'd settle for just getting back into 10-20hrs this year, which will mean I'm playing again, regularly, and got a bit of interest back

my wife would say 'not enough' and since changing jobs I'd agree, last year spent upwards of 30 hours on the course/in the club house per week, but it's down to just over 10 at present

On a week that i play 5hours. 4hrs on the course, 30mins either side.
A week that I don't play, 0.

Between work and family I can't spare any more.
