Winter it's one round a week, middle of summer it can be up to three rounds plus a bit of practice, yearly average I'd guess just shy of 10.

Being retired I play on average 3 times a week through the season and revert to once plus range time in winter. Not restricted to my own course as I played over 30 last year.

Being on the most expensive tariff (full member) for our club, I can only make time to play once a week and in for a quick coke/coffee due to family commitments. Seems a bit of a farce when you hear of the odd senior member complaining about costs when they pay less and play substantially more.

Ever was it thus...

I joined too late to make use of the young adult scheme as it was introduced after I turned 32, and I've still got 33 years until I get pensioner rates

I would think I am there around 20 hours a week with medals, social and practice games. Throw in some time in the clubhouse too. I'd be there more if I had the time though!

At present, less than 5 hours a week. Probably increases to nearer 10 in the Summer. Simple fact is that I am not a great fan of the clubhouse, stuffy, no sport, cannot use my phone or the internet and few people of my age in there and so I would rather go down the pub after a round.

Wow, I'm really surprised at the figures so far, 10hrs max is 2 x 4hr rounds and very little time in the clubhouse afterwards!

I use my club almost as my local, if I have spare time I drop in for a quick drink and even something to eat along with a game of snooker. I try to play [golf] at least 3 times a week but if not a minimum of twice with some practice time thrown in during the week in the winter and 4 times (lighter nights) in the summer.

I always have a drink and some crumpets after a game, sometimes a club sandwich. I also attend the free mid-week draw nights, at £440 currently it would be daft not to as you have to be on site to win the lolly.

During the winter it's once a week with some social time to follow. When the longer days are with us, twice a week is the goal.

Unfortunately I had to vote for less than 5 hours a week as due to work and family commitments I don't get to play as much as I'd like to. If only that elusive Euromillions win would come my way then I would've picked over 30 hours.

Try to play twice a week if time permits. Time in the clubhouse after, plus Thursday night draw night (similar to Fish) with same principal of cash draw, means 10-20 hours easily. If they allowed me in as I dress for walking the dog, it may be an extra hour or two on top.
