Monthly poll: handicap variation in 2015

Started at 19.6 now up to 20.9, since getting my HC 2 years ago it's been 0.1 after 0.1 rise, mostly down to inconsistency, through not playing enough, so the rises are to be expected, got 8 qualifiers left before H4H and the end of the season, so plenty chances to get the HC down or up further.

19.6 to 17.7 courtesy of 1.2 and 0.9 cuts with a could of 0.1 increases thrown in for good measure. Goal at the start of the season was to get back down to 18 and I've actually done that! Next goal 15????

Started on 15 and I'm now down to 10.3 after two stellar rounds in July.

TotAl of 6 cuts this season, taking me from 13.7 down to 11.1

on a decent run of form at the moment and plenty of qualifiers left (around 12) before the end of the season, so hoping to go a bit lower

Played 14 qualifiers so far. 2 cuts totalling 1.5, 6 buffers & 6 0.1s so 0.9 total loss to 15.6.

Probably only be able to play in 4 more qualifiers this season so my target of 12 isn't looking too promising.

Started season on 12.2 then drifted up to a worrying on the lip of returning back to Cat 3 at 12.4 before a really unexpected .8 cut seeing me back to 11.6. Two .1s upwards since so currently 11.8.

But all in all not a bad season so far.

Up 0.6, was looking forward to this season but then injuring myself in April and being out for 13wks hasn't helped, playing catch up now.

Started the year on 18.6 got to 18.0 but back to 18.3. Have been hitting buffer a lot recently. Playing well for 16/17 holes but chucking it away on the others. At least I'm playing off 18 not 19.

I cut almost 2 shots off early in the season before swinging back up to 11.4 at the moment. Very frustrating year and not at all what I should be capable of. I think I've only played 14 qualifying rounds and have really struggled through lack of playing time.

I see you're in Fife which probably has more than its fair share of wind normally, but even here in Berkshire the flipping wind has been almost constant all season. UK weather's been nuts this year.
