Bit of everything but mainly to forget results, past rounds etc and just enjoy being out. First off though some lessons in the new year and get them to stick, tried too many things and ended up in a mess.

Just enjoy every round I play

Lifes too short and in the big scheme of things a game of golf is not a big deal

A good day on the course is a bonus not a necessity

Way too many 0.1 increases this year, I did manage a medal win so I know the game is still there but way too many silly mistakes have ruined too many rounds. A couple of shots reduction would make me happy.

I think I need to relax more when playing, there's a close line between focus and putting yourself under too much pressure! I played in a knock out match Saturday and threw the game away (3 shot lead going into the last!, folded like a cheap suit) and then in a Texas Scramble yesterday, I played some of my best golf, big lesson, focus and concentrate yes, play like your mortgage is dependant on it... no.

I chose "drop a handicap category" which roughly encompasses by three targets. Currently at 12.7 , i desperately want to get below my lowest ever of 11.8, i want to break 80 in competition conditions at my place (81 is my best) which will in turn get me into category 2 !!!

I just want to enjoy the season and play some decent golf on good courses.

I resolve to play more often.

However, my lack of play has been more to do with the weather than anything else. At this time of year it's hard to motivate myself to walk around what equates to a muddy puddle.

If I had to pick one of the options, I'd go for dropping a handicap catagory.

Enjoy every shot and every moment regardless of whether it is good or bad! If it is good, store it in the memory bank, if it is a stinker, learn from it! I only get to play once a month or so and I am determined to make the most of each round! I have got stress in past desperate o make a good score that it has ruined rounds before they have really started! No More!

Not a specific target as I don't do targets but dropping a handicap category would be nice. Handicap still steadily on the way down and starting next season on 13.3, Cat 2 is very close.

1. Remember I play this game for fun no matter the end result of a round.

2. Maintain single figures and hopefully drop a shot or two

As many have said to make sure i enjoy playing and not get too hung up on my goals, having said that i am looking to get into single figures next year which i feel is very acheivable, if I win a few comps along the way that would be great. Oh and hopefully retain the forum cup too!:D
