Hi all,

Golf Monthly is searching for amateur golfers with great stories to tell. In 2017, we will be producing a series of features telling the incredible golfing feats of our audience. Did you realise a long-held dream by winning the club championship in 2016? Do you know someone who did and whose story is worth telling?

Likewise, we are on the lookout for successful foursomes and four-ball pairings. Would you and your partner like to be featured as we attempt to unveil the keys to a great team? Are you part of a formidable mixed fours partnership? What makes a great husband and wife team?

If you fall into any of these categories (or know anyone who does) and would like to be featured, we want to hear from you. Send us an email titled ‘Reader Stories’ with a short summary of your story to golfmonthly@timeinc.com. We look forward to hearing from you!

Note: please only email in if you're able to do an interview and photoshoot in Farnborough on March 1st.

Many thanks,

Nick

Have you considered doing profiles/stories of some of our top amateur players?
The Walker Cup provisional squad has just been announced, why not run something about a few of them each month running up to the event. Give us some background for each player and let them get some coverage of their achievements.

Details of what stops Mr & Mrs Smith from killing each other on the course doesn't sound like a page I'd be reading.

But some of these youngsters are fantastic players - for example the New South Wales Amateur championship final will be played for by two English players (Scott Gregory & Marco Penge), but we hear nothing about that. Jack Singh Brar and Bradley Moore (from my club) came 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Avondale medal (also in Aus') last week. Why wasn't that on the Latest new section of the website?

This would be far more interesting and should be covered imo. Coverage of womens golf would be an idea as well.
