Progress report on earlier - now back at exactly the same as I started the year!

Bit of an up and down season. Started a 5.4 and ended up at 4.8. The start of the season was a bit of a slog due to the weather.

15.7 to 13.3, quite pleased and still plenty of room for improvement.

Had a full handicap cert printed out yesterday, with my last 2 years data.
28 qualifiers (14 each summer only) and handicap hasn't varied more than .8 (max to min).

So I guess 10 is as good as I am going to get.

Had drifted out to 5.9 after a poor season, but managed a nice cut last Wednesday after a scratch 73 to go down to 5.3, Turn senior in February and looking forward to all the senior Opens i can play in.

Started season at 17.9, now 13.1. Drop has been steady, but breaking 80 for the first time with a gross 79/nett 64 gave me my biggest single cut of the season of -1.8.

After cutting 8 shots of my first official handicap last year I had aspirations of being down to single figures by this time this year. Sadly I'm still off 13 having very briefly been off 12.
