Ok so I’ve read the CONGU Manual & think I’ve worked it out but need assurance!!
So, given the Gents & Ladies SSS’s on this card how many shots correction are required for Medal & Stableford from the 3 tees?

Can’t see any attachments

What are the respective SSS and Par

For Stableford it’s the difference between the two

So if the whites are

Par 70 - sss 69 that means to play to HC is 37
If the red are par 70 and sss 71 - play to HC is 35

Then it’s the difference between the two which is 37-35 = 2

So the lady gets two shots for scoring purposes only

Edit - just seen the cards - no extra shots in a Stableford Comp if it’s from the red and white , 1 extra shot if from the yellow and red

2 extra shots in a medal

You have to think of this in Stableford terms

A lady playing to her handicap would score 36 points
A man playing to his handicap off the whites would score 36 points
A man playing to his handicap off the yellows would score 37 points

hence the adjustment of 1 shot between yellow and red (as LP says)

Ah... yes, thanks Phil, I was editing 'cos I'd got 2 images some how.....:unsure:
So White Medal = +2 for Ladies
White Stableford = no change
Yellow Medal = +3 Ladies
Yellow Stableford = +1 Ladies

Is that it?
Just seen Jim's.... isn't Medal just the difference in SSS.... well that's what I thought I'd read.... too old for this!!:rolleyes:

It is.

CONGU Appendix O
For the purposes of the competition, each player playing the course with the higher Standard Scratch Score must be awarded a Competition Handicap Allowance equivalent to his Playing Handicap increased by the difference in the two Standard Scratch Scores.

So I guess this adjustment would apply in any mixed Comp format..... B/ball MatchPlay, Texas Scramble, Waltz etc ??

The latter two are not recognised by either the Rules of Golf or the CONGU regulations but it would seem sensible and logical to do so.
