Jack's Memorial tournament from Muirfield Village is well underway, and I'm currently watching the Featured Group of Jason Day, Patrick Reed and Tiger Woods. It's not going well for Tiger, is currently +2 through 8 and has just hit his drive on #9 WAY right. Hit a provisional, and hit that almost as far right before almost deciding to snap his driver. Looks like it's going to be a frustrating week for Woods!

Who you picking to win? I think Jordan will have a good week, and Justin Rose is looking very good early on. I reckon one of the young guns will come through and win though, would like it to be Justin Thomas's week, or if he doesn't win, I would like to see a win for Dustin Johnson, though he typically struggles on this course!

Not good from Woods. Where does he go from here

Go back to being a proper PGA tour professional. He's played one tournament in nearly 2 months since the Masters. How does he expect to compete with the rank and file of the tour if he doesnt play?

His days of cherrypicking which handful of tournaments he plays outside of the Majors and the WGC events are gone. He needs to start thinking like a rank and file PGA Tour player again, cos that's what he now is.

I'm starting to fear for Tiger a bit..
He just seems to get worse every time he plays, not better or even standing still.
Worst case, if he doesn't pick up any OWGR points this year, and on this form its hard to bet against it, he's going to be lucky to be in the top 500 come January.

There just doesn't seem to be the ability to step up a gear when he needs to.
The slippery slope continues..

Interesting clip just now on the red button, Wayne Riley saying that Woods has to swallow his pride and ask Butch to work with him again. David Livingstone said it won't happen. Wonder if Butch has refused to work with him again or if he is implying Woods wouldn't ask him.

Possibly both......
Woods wouldn't want to go backwards and Butch probably doesn't need Tiger....

Woods to retire at the end of the Season - you read it here first!

Would be a backward step for Harmon I think and if he can't get Woods back playing would do no good to his reputation so he's onto a loser with that and I can see why he doesn't want to do it especially with some of the players he looks after now. I fear for Woods and think he may have one more season next year and quit part way through it when it gets not better. I can't see him making the cut at any of the other majors on current showing

But if he got Woods playing well again he'd be onto a winner & his reputation would go through the roof.

His reputation is already through the roof so I think Butch has got more to lose than gain. If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't touch Woods with a barge pole.

Reliable sources in the US golf scene say there is no chance of that reunion. Listen to a few of the State of the Game or By The Minute golf podcasts where they have interviewed guys from the US press who know more of the story. And the reasons for no reunion are mutual, not one sided.

Time for a mystery injury to surface to spare him the indignity of a cricket score at Chambers Bay.
