What a shocker I had today in the Medal at Dunbar……..Off the full length whites I start with a birdie 4 then it’s scramble all the way until my head was fried. 27 putts in a round of 81= 9 over par, 8 over CSS. I just never knew what was going to happen next. I was only two over par after 10. Ah work out the rest for yourselves and if my putter was cold I would’ve been playing cricket. Greens were superb, truly amazing.

I know some of you would like to shoot 81 but it’s all relevant to each HC.

Thommo, awesome putting stats buddy

That may well be but I suspect there were a lot of missed greens and plenty of chip'n'putts - the putts from about 2-3 feet.
Fine for a 10-20 handicapper - a plague to a low guy.......

Just shows that stats don't tell the story unless you dig deeper.

sounds a bit like a round i would have.

what were you doing right for the first 10 holes?i'm thinking your short game maybe let you down for the last 8 to lose 7 shots.
