Dave Prowse, best known for playing Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy and being the Green Cross Code Man, has died at the age of 85.

BBC breakfast have just run a very nice tribute to him. Included was clips of scenes from Star Wars were his voice was still in the scene. Interesting to hear but confirms the decision to use James Earl Jones for the voice. Came across as a very decent man.

Memories of The Green Cross Code Man made me smile. Hugely effective, the simple message is still lodged in the brains of millions of people over a certain age.
