What is the max no. days in a row have you played? Doesn’t matter how many holes (9/18) just how many consecutive days of golf you had.

Second point: did you improve because of it, got tired/fed up etc?

Just played 6 days in a row (mostly quick 9 holes but also two 18-hole rounds). Feels good, possibly improving.

3 is the most I've done, do these people not have jobs? My short game definitely improved, chipping and putting became really sharp. Longer game tired towards the end of round 3 so that balanced things out to an extent. Scoring definitely improved though.

I'm not an obsessive, i need a break to keep things fresh.

Once played for 5 days on the run. It tipped me over the edge. I felt as if I was going through the motions last off.

Most I've done is 4 which was twice

Was away trip so did have buggys the entire first time round

Second time round 3/4 rounds was buggys

Did help the golf ..

Golf holiday in Florida just the lads.
36 holes everyday for 14 days on the trot. And 18 the day we flew home so 15 days total.
I was sick of golf after that ,almost every muscle was aching after I got home.
Muscles had the twitches on the plane coming home it was very strange.

That’s extreme! Did you have an ice bath at the end of each day? ;)

Other than junior days did 12 rounds, all proper courses and back tees etc, in a week which got the better of me physically, mentally, spiritually and financially. Peaked in rds 4 & 5 and was ordinary at best thereafter. If I ever did anything similar again would mix it up with foursomes, greensomes, short courses and less booze

Went up to Scotland for a golf break in 2012....played 4 rounds on consecutive days, returned home (same day as last round) and the next day played 36 holes.

The others are a bit younger than me.
It was like a military operation.
But I was getting up in the morning and thinking “ Christ I have to play golf again”
We go every year but I play 3 days then have a day off now.
But they leave me in the Villa and go play.
Great fun I love it.

Played 8 consecutive days in June/July last year whilst on furlough. All one round a day.

Think the most I played was 8 days on the trot on a golf break playing a few different courses and would do it again if I had the chance

Two I think. Might have done three, I can't really remember. I could probably manage three days in a row but I wouldn't fancy doing a fourth, I'd want a day off from it really. You can have too much of a good thing.

4 for me. Started well and progressively got worse.

I think because I'm still trying to improve i start off just worrying about getting my ball in the hole so not thinking too much about the swing itself etc.

After a few days I then start overthinking my swing and end up blagging my own head.

Didn't help that those four days also included hikes and bike rides. Fatigue definitely played a part.
