Doesn't matter which hole you are on........
A) Never, ever relax and think "I've got this one".
and
B) never, ever give up on a hole.

Because the bloke you are playing is most probably thinking "A".

I was once 3 down with 3 to play. At the 16th I got a routine par and my opponent knocked his uphill birdie putt about 15" past the hole and obviously expected me to concede the match 3&2. However I saw that his par putt was downhill and curly, so I made him take it. He missed it and was so angry with either me or himself that his game completely fell apart. I won the match at the 1st extra hole! The moral is 'never allow yourself to get upset if your opponent won't concede a short putt'.
