Masters Betting

Jeev, nice bloke and a good golfer but he has a bloody awful swing to watch. Its up there with Kenny Perry for the worst swings on tour.

Going to put my money down tomorrow, spent wwwaaayyyy to much on Golf already today.

I took the plunge and have an each way bet on both Paul Casey and Zach Johnson.
Reasons - Both have played well at Augusta before, both have won on PGA tour in 2009 so have form. Both are of a mature enough age to have experienced many Majors. Oh and both are offered at decent enough odds to make having a smallish punt worthwhile. ;)
Not saying either will win but a top 4 for one or both is realistic for me.

Who would I like to see win? - Rory of course but I can't see it.

I fancy Stenson at that price. Anyone know what Westwood is. I have this real nagging feeling he's going to have a big event

Westwood is at 50-1, I had £5.00 on him. Same on McIlroy ( 33-1 ) and a little more on Ogilvy ( 20-1 ). That's those three doomed then !!

I am thinking a few E/W bets on Stenson, Karlson, Poults, Rory, Casey.

Still undecided though!!! Grrr choices choices

Right thats my betting done.

Went with

Big Leftie £10 e/w @ 9/1
Mike Weir £2 e/w @ 70/1
Stewart Cink £2 e/w @ 85/1
Camilio Villegas £5 e/w @ 55/1
Stenson top European £2 @ 9/1

No doubt £40 down the drain, but you never know, speculate to accumulate! Or at least it gives me an interest to go with Morrisons 36 bottles of Sol for £18 that shouted buy me when I went shopping yesterday!

Had to go back to the fruit and veg isle for a net of limes!

I don't think HID's is going to be impressed after this weekend, golfing Friday & Saturday morning, then watching the golf as much as I can over the weekend…
