Didn't want to hijack Valentino's prediction comp thread, so starting a betting one.

Curious who's putting their money where their mouth is.

I've gone for £2 to win (odds are always crappy on each way IMO) on...

Phil Mickelson @ 12/1
Justin Rose @ 33/1
Steve Stricker @ 50/1
Aaron Baddeley @ 150/1

Come on your beauties... don't let me down!

Borjn and Peter Hanson at 150's

only a couple of quid each way on both.

Wanted to put a few quid on some of the bigger players but couldn't bring myself to pick between them!

I'm not a betting man to be fair Monty

But

If I were I could be tempted to put a few shillings on Hunter Mahan. He's in a bit of form of late

£2.50 E/W KJ Choi at about 50's I think

£5 Luke Donald to win @ 18/1

May also have a little post-cut flutter depending on who seems to be performing.

Monty, surprised you did not E/W some of those choices - PP paying up to 6 places.

Peaked too soon! Maybe....

I don't like betting on the previous week's winner. Just looking for someone with a nice top 10 finish, like big Phil.

I might back rory aswell but I'll wait til he drifts out a bit. 4/1 is way too short.

Anyone placing E/W Bets consider Paddy Power & Bodog who are paying Top 6 at 1/4 of the odds.

Anyone placing Outright Winner Bets, consider Paddy Power as they are refunding all losing bets if Tiger Woods wins.

As for my picks:

Tiger Woods @ 4/1 (£50, had a free bet with Sporting Bet).

E/W Bets:
Jason Dufner 125/1
Sergio Garcia 55/1
Luke Donald 16/1

top 6 for e/w bets but the odds aren't as good as other paying top 5

I have gone for Donald, then a couple of real outsiders in Jacobsen and Bae. Using Betfair with the hope I can lay one of them early doors. Roll on Thursday. At least the majority of it is at night so it wont distract me too much from my work.
