Ok, I've really pushed the boat out this year and have splurged a £20 wager on the Masters.
Have got £5 each way on young Ozzie players Aaron Baddeley and Adam Scott. Odds are 80/1 for Baddeley and 33/1 for Scott. Woods was at 11/10...what's the point?
Pretty good odds I reckon as one or both of these two is going to win big soon, both excellent putters!
Might back one or two others nearer the time, see how fat Phil is faring...seems good odds at 8/1, won a few quid on him in 2006.
Who are you backing or do you think gambling is a dreadful sin? :D

As you might have guessed from my earlier post I am going to have a flutter on K.J Choi this year, don’t know what masters or comp I will put money down on but I will.

Nothing wrong with the occasional flutter, it certainly adds more excitement to some matches.

I've been following the fortunes of the GM Monthly tipster in recent weeks but this week has been the first I've went with him. A couple of them have had promising starts, we'll see how the US guys do tonight.

As for the Masters, early thinking says Woods to win, fancy Paul Casey for a Top 5 and Nick Fasth for a Top 10. Will be monitoring form over the next few weeks tho' before parting with dosh...may wait to see what GM predict first...

There's no value in Woods at 11/10. It's an incredible price for one man to win against an entire field but is a reflection of his current supremacy (8 wins and one 2nd place out of the last 9 starts, I believe).

Value may exist in each-way bets and any of the usual suspects (Harrington, Garcia, Casey, Monty etc) at more than 20/1 may be worth a punt.

Will be going for a top ten bet nearer the time. Won £1k on Andres Romero at the Open 2 years ago doing that and haven't fared badly out of similar ones. You only get these type of bets on Majors. Shame. I could've retired by now with all the 5th and 6th places I've had.
