Many of us get out today?

Played my 13th qualifier of the year today. Despite two good buffers in the week, had a horrid time in a medal with a 3+ club wind to attract an unwanted 0.1.

Went to the club about 2 yesterday to do some work on my chipping, guess when the only rain shower we had all day moved in? Luckily it didn't last long. It was nice to chip onto a proper green as opposed to in the garage and I'm pleased to say the new technique seems to be working quite well. Lets hope the course is at least partially open this weekend so I can give it a proper test :thup:

I hope you realise that in the first 5 weeks of the year you've played more qualifiers than I'll get to play all year.....!!

My course was open, 16 greens and 2 temps.

I could have played, but couldn't be bothered. Did a bit of practice, and went home.

13th qualifier, I thought I was doing well with 6 qualifiers.

No play here, I've still only played once this year.

Played today. Course is fine, couple of new water features down the right on 1 and middle of 18th fairway, but didn't bother me. Greens were good, no damp patches. Greenkeepers were putting on some sort of dressing. Just nice to get out with a bit of sun on your back.:thup:

No play for us this weekend if the forecast is anything to go by. Friday and Saturday look like being a washout and I can't play Sunday anyway even if the course did open.

My club has done well to keep 14 holes open but with the forecast for the week I suspect that the whole course could be shut by the weekend
