Major summer sporting events.

Not due to start for another 7 months so they may get it in

I really don’t think they should be. Athletes coming from all over the world. Not many should have had a vaccine either.

I can also assure you there is no social distancing in the athletes village either

Last year it was end of March when they postponed it.
I guess they may give it a month extra but with all the organising they can't leave it until May to make a decision.

in terms of big events, not just sporting, I've got tickets for Guns n Roses and Hamilton in June, the Open in July and Sister Act in August. 3 of the 4 are rescheduled from last year.

Honestly, I'm not sure I'll get to any of them. Certainly not without a vaccine in my arm, and being 31 I'm not holding out much hope for that before autumn!

Got tickets in April for Bryan Adams & Romesh Ranganathan, both carried over from last year and fully expect both to be cancelled or rolled over again. Think the first one we might get to is Bryan Adams at Canterbury in July as it is open air, or Eagles at Wembley in August.

The other alternative is that the first one that we will get to is Beth Hart in November, purely on the basis that she was the last artist we saw before Covid kicked the backside out of live entertainment and that somehow completes the circle.

Got a ticket for Nightwish at the beginning of May. Should have my first jab by then but still kind of hoping it's postponed. Don't think things will be down far enough by then for me to feel safe.

Beth Hart is brilliant! Would love to see Beth Hart again and November sounds like a nice long way away.

Bath Forum any good for you, 3rd November?

Saw her at Hammersmith in February. We were in the circle, it's about start time & there's a bit of a commotion downstairs. Turns out that Beth decides the way to kick off the evening is to enter from the foyer, walking down the aisles singing unaccompanied, high giving, hand shaking & hugging the audience as she went. Absolutely brilliant. Also had half of the Kris Barras Band doing an acoustic gig as support. Great evening.

Took a gamble and got my Brtish GP tickets at the early bird price. Fingers crossed it will be ok, outdoors, middle of july. Masks possibly still required? I'll have to get one with a hole for a straw;)

I am entered into Southampton Marathon in late April, Manchester marathon in Nov, a half ironman in the Cotswolds in June.

Manchester and ironman i am confident will happen, Southampton, maybe not!

And I am in the ballot for London mara, that's been decided to host in November this year opposed to the usual april... Fingers crossed!!
