So 63 yo Vijay Singh is activating his career earnings status (which is his right) in order to provide him certain pga tour playing privileges for 2026.

That category is fairly low on the hierarchy but will still likely enable a fair amount of starts in regular events.

Just because you can do something doesn’t always mean you should.

When I went to watch the open at Lytham a few years ago Vijay was using the practice bunker, when he had finished he came out and was happy to sign autographs and talk to people even though it wasn’t designated as an Autograph area.
He went up in my opinion then as he was about the only player I saw who did that.
