That is a nice post. That is the one shot that is costing me on the course. I am fine if I can use my 7 iron but when I am confronted with that type of shot then I am screwed.
cheers madadey, I went for a lesson from instinctive golf a few years back and they advocated something very similar ie the bounce is your friend, play it off your front foot etc must go back to that again as it worked.

That shot takes alot of balls to play with a decent card in your hand. I'm pretty confident around a green but I'd have nasty thoughts of thinning it through the green
