Bloody hard work this trying to lose weight isn't it! Massively disappointed after my weigh in yesterday but got to keep going and chipping away at it.

Every meal you're thinking about what you should eat, if you're getting enough protein, how many calories in this meal, how many calories left for the rest of the day etc.

I'm moaning on here as I think my wife has had enough of hearing me chunter this 🤣

It genuinely is tough. I always think about the average Christmas & Boxing Day. Folk can easily put away double their calorific requirements on both days. Add in Christmas Eve and New Year. I'd say it's possible to overeat to the tune of 8000 calories. So to balance that out and undereat by 8000 calories either takes a lot longer or you starve yourself for 4 days. A moment on the lips and all that!

I use it via the Fenix 6X for all my activities, use most of the functions in the App, it also connects to other fitness/food apps. Really like it.
Upload workouts etc.

All free as well

I’ve had real trouble trying to get the connect app to talk with my fitness pal.

Any ideas?

Just went through, Settings, Connected Apps and connected through there.

Been connected for over 2 years with no issues.

You could try going through My fitness pal and connect to Garmin that way.

Had my first one to one session with the PT. Also been back to him for a guided session where he sets you up with cardio and weights and checks to see if you're getting on ok. Will be doing four sessions a week. All included in his PT session cost. Also looked at what I'm eating. Not enough protein and too many carbs. Got work to do!

Repeating myself here, but Protein intake is massive in getting where you want to get to.
I fancy joining a gym at home as well, using a PT, just for the accountability.

I haven't done as many weight sessions this as my lower back and hips playing up so did a spin session mid week before a trip to the physio. Probably shouldn't have but managed to get 18 holes in yesterday which I'm feeling this morning!! Definitely think my weights have helped with my fitness as well as doing my spin sessions too.

I love being in this training/eating better zone but as I've said before it does feel quite claustrophobic when you're thinking of meals, drinks, protein, too many carbs etc.

Haven’t played a round of golf carrying for a wee while so yesterday I needed to see where I was at after doing 5km rucking most mornings for the last 3 weeks or so, carrying 12kg for that

Golf bag only weighed in at 10kg and spread out course means a walking round is 10-11km distance. Deliberately booked a 1pm tee time to make sure temp was up compared to morning exercise
Temp was around 35°, 75% humidity & 3 club wind. The rough being lush and uncut definitely needed extra effort to walk through
Happy enough to see the clubhouse come into view but felt I could’ve gone further if needed. Reasonably knackered (aches) in the immediate hours following the round but felt fine this morning. Pleased I could still play reasonably well, had best drives of the day on back 9 but I need a couple more carrying rounds in soon...
