Played today on snowy, icy greens. I was under the impression that you could clear snow and ice from your line of
put with your putter, so long as in so doing you do not press down on the surface of the green. Snow and ice are definitely loose impediments, so I suppose it rests on whether you are pressing down when removing it. Anyone else had the same issue?

If it's that bad you the course should be closed :)

Snow and Ice can be treated as casual water or a loose impediment. If the whole green is covered the course should be closed IMO.

Who needs a V Easy, jus make a nice line to the hole, build up the snow behind it and fill up the edges of the line... It'll go straight in!
