Lol. Aye. Good times, Steve.
I'll really need to get to something again this year. Can't believe where the time's gone but my last forum meet was as captain when Scotland trounced/gubbed/battered England 20-12 at Goswick in October 2011. Think the fantastic Captain's picks on day one really sealed it.
Found the old video. What a great two days.

Hopefully more to come.
Cheers Murph. Och. It was job done after day 1.
17K plus posts? Jings, man. Not got a telly where you're from?

I joined November 2009 and I remember looking at Homers post count at the time and it was about 10,000.
I am on 4500 odd and he's just past 40k.
I spend hours sometimes just browsing without posting and it gets addictive.
I have disagreements with others as we are human and opinions divide us,however I have made some good friends and really enjoy all the meets I go to and to be honest I enjoy them more than my other golf.
I'm even bringing my dad to a couple of meets this year before he's past it.
HFH is my favorite and such a great charity just wish I was richer and could offer more.
I also enjoy organising the Southwest meet would be nice to get some more traveling south as there are some good courses.
If I had more time and money I would travel more for golf and would love to visit Scotland one day.
Here's to some more forum happy times.
You were the first forumer I ever played with Tony. You and your dad took me to the cleaners. I was even giving you both shots.I joined November 2009 and I remember looking at Homers post count at the time and it was about 10,000.

You have been a lot luckier than me then Chris.T
I think this sums up the forum to me. We all talk rubbish on the forum, but where ever you go, you meet up with fellow idiots from here, and the instant friendship, acceptance, generosity, etc, is brilliant. I've travelled all over, and met guys off the forum, and found friends for life.
Cherry on top of the cake.:thup:I've been really lucky as well, met some top blokes off here that I hope to remain friends with for a long time
And I've also met Richart
Feb 2009 for me and my first meet was at Beau Desert. That was the day I played with Vig, TonyN, Rob and when I first met Smiffy. I've never been the same since.
I remember my first meet, I think it was Redlibbitts. I turned up not knowing anyone, felt a little nervous and have since played in loads of forum meets and loved everyone and have met some truly smashing people.
It's great to meet and play with people who you feel you know but you don't really know, but after 18 holes and some food you'd definitely play with them again! Come first or last I've always driven home, sometimes many miles , happy to have put my name down
