lie angle difference...

been for 2 custom fits now and they both came back with different results to the lie angle..

AP1 i needed 1 inch longer and 3 upright yet taylormade burner 2.0 i need 1 inch longer and no adjustment to lie angle.

Would there be any reason why this is??

Was it a static fit,or did you hit balls off an impact board ? Were the fittings done at different places ?

done at difference places and at both places i hit off the board with the clubs marked up and both clubs marked around the center

The two clubs may have different "standard" length and lie angles.
Check the websites and you should be able to tell.

they were both level!! I felt that my swing was alot better today than it was when i had the fit for ap1.

I kept hooking th ap1s where as today everything went pretty straight.

Im 6ft 7 so thats what made me ask the question

Maybe because the shaft on ap1 was a heavier shaft dynamic gold s300 and the burners is regular shaft..

Yet again my theory on custom fitting is proven correct.They can only fit you for the swing you have on the day,and even low handicappers don't have perfectly repetitive swings.This is why i'm cynical about the whole process.

There is no industry standard for shaft flex, so you cannot expect the same results with two shaft makes with simular descriptions.

Did you say you had a centre rub mark with both sets as standard?

no the taylormades were standard shaft and the ap1 were a slighter stiffer shaft s300 which are also heavier
