The roads are shocking. I did a 20m journey yesterday and even the main roads are covered in holes or areas where the surface is poor.

The one in the village wrecked tyres and wheels last winter. It's usually under water so catches drivers out. Council "repaired" it - clearly not very well. David found a heavy duty cone loitering by the side of the road so that's stuck in it now which has worked!

Why on earth are you driving 20 metres? Get out the car and get some exercise

The problem is that municipalities often just “patch things up.” That lasts “from 12 noon to midday.” But a proper repair often means renovation - and they don't have the money for that!

They just choose not to give it to councils to repair the roads.

I am certain our Authority has pothole problems like others but I have noticed a decent improvement in recent year's

So what did social media say when he announced this. He is having a jolly freebie day out don’t matter what you do, folk are just going to criticise.
