@AmandaJR I'm doing a lot of driving at the moment, family health related, and it's genuinely shocking at the potholes I'm seeing. It's the number and severity of them. Driving down the A1 through N Yorkshire there was a 2-3 mile spell where the inside lane, passenger tyre area was just pot hole after pothole. A 70mph stretch of road . So dangerous

The roads are shocking. I did a 20m journey yesterday and even the main roads are covered in holes or areas where the surface is poor.

The one in the village wrecked tyres and wheels last winter. It's usually under water so catches drivers out. Council "repaired" it - clearly not very well. David found a heavy duty cone loitering by the side of the road so that's stuck in it now which has worked!
