Just walked in the living room where my wife is absorbed in the Jungle.
Caught a tail end conversation about funeral music. "Staying Alive" suggested for entry, "Burn, Baby Burn" for the curtain closer.
Reminded me of Jam " Going Underground" for burial v Arthur Brown's "I bring you Fire" for cremation. 😅

I always fancied having "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" - guaranteed to get the audience mourners whistling along

Other half won't entertain it though😥 Still, I probably won't care by then.

At my late next door neighbour’s Crematorium funeral, the opening music was Elvis’s version of ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and when the curtains closed on the coffin, the accompanying music was ‘Smoke gets in your eyes’.

It was the first Humanist Funeral that I’d attended and was an interesting and enlightening event, I learnt so much about him that I was unaware of , he held a Private Pilots License and also had done time inside.
