Just had first lesson

I just had a 3 hole lesson with the pro this morning. Its amazing, after a hour he had me hitting my 3 wood of the grass, something I have consistently failed to do, added 10 yds to my 5 iron, successfully chipping over bunkers and holing shortish putts fairly regularly.

I was unable to play a round afterwards coz I had somewhere to go, so I hope I can remember everything next time I play.

I was quite stunned how much he did in such a short space of time.

this seems to be a week of firsts for you louise, maybe a hole in one on the cards. Definitley do the lotto tonight.

Try and get some range time in too, to ingrain the new things you've been shown.

Lessons and practice has moved my game forward...just need to work on the handicap now! Keep at it.

Played nine this afternoon, remembered the chipping and putting advice, hit a 3 wood better but not as well as when he showed me.

You do need to get some range work in to practice the drills and what she showed you. It does take some time to shift old habits and get the new moves working but stick at it

As he says. Don't expect instant results straightaway.Don't get me wrong you will pull off some shots that would never have been possible but you will also hit some real stinkers. Remeber you must prctice what you have been shown otherwise it will not take effect. Good luck
