JFK ......50 years on today

I was 4 when he was shot , read many books on the subject and he was indeed a very special man and his speeches are very special with the content being of a very special quality as I watch some of it on sky news today and it seems that 50 years on and nobody knows what the truth is , shame as who knows what he would have gone on to become and maybe that's why he was taken out . He played golf too and I am not sure to what handicap................EYG

I was pretty near 11 and remember the news bulletin well. We probably didn't understand the significance of the tv pictures we saw at the time. I remember watching the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby, live as I recall and don't think we ever learned the true background story and, of course, there were so many conspiracy theories and, I guess we will never know the truth of the whole story.
