Drivers - Ping G10 (awesome) Titleist 907D1 (£89 now!) or Cobra S91.

Fairways - Ping G10, Callaway Diablo or Cobra Speed series.

Irons - Titleist/Mizuno, wouldnt touch Ping with a bargepole.

Wedges - Titleist Vokeys/Mizuno Wedges

Putter - Odyssey/Scotty/TM Agsi Series

Balls - ProV1 or Wilson Staff DX2 soft

Then get a sexy looking cart-bag and a gokart for it to go on.

£1600 should just about buy a 1970 Marshall JMP Plexi with 4 by 12 cab... funilly enough I know where you could find one... Actually by the 1970 it no longer has the plexi front but still is the same animal

Though for one tenth of that you could have some nice Yonex C280 irons

or some Lynx CST-1 irons
