So I've just watched the news. Pardon my language but, bloody hell. What the hell is wrong with this country?

Two teenagers attack two men, and then attack a grandfather who was with his three year old grand-daughter outside a mosque. The whole thing was caught on CCTV. The two attackers even video'd the whole thing on their phones. The result was that the grandfather died with his grand-daughter next to him having watched the whole thing.

After agreeing to plead guilty they are let off with a manslaughter charge and 8 years in jail.

Now this will upset the librel amongest you who think that these thugs, no, murderers, can be re-educated, (John Venables, you've got a great case there!!). But these murderers deserve life, and by that I mean life. Actually. Death would be my solution.

I'm fed up with a system that let's murderers get away with this. I mean. A three year old watched her grandfather be murdered. And the only reason is that the teenagers thought that it was fun.

Hang 'em. Hang 'em all.

This is the first time that I've got this irrate about something and posted on here since starting the business. (Obviously I don't want to alienate any potential customers.) But I'm afraid that this has got my blood boiling.

Capital punishment but before they are allowed to get that bad we need to bring back national service!! If you leave school and have not got a job or training course or higher education you spend 2 years in The Army! Plain and simple!! Do they save up out of their benefits?

If yes, then they're obviously being paid too much benefit.

Have you ever seen the inside of council houses nowadays?

The punishment just does not fit the crime nowadays but the problems are far more deep rooted than just the crimes committed.

For those whose blood boils over issues like this then all I can suggest is to wear blinkers, don't watch or read the news and play as much golf as you can.

The guy who made coins in the mint would be castrated if found to be snipping bits off coins, or defacing the kings head.

If any full coins went missing then his boss would have his hand cut off and nailed to the door as a reminder.

As a tax payer it sticks in my craw that we pay to keep people locked up who will never be fit to mix with society when they could be culled, but I am reminded of the chinese man who was convicted of murdering his wife when she suddenly disappeared- and was rapidly executed - only to have her turn up months later having run away during a nervous breakdown. Glad I'm not a politician so I'm not going to pretend I have any answers, but I'm sure there's a few the could reasonably shoot??

Not sure it was 8 years, I thought they were given 3 years in a youth offenders secure home - me.... I'd hang them by the goolies, that would be a deterent!

I'd like to see capital punishment reintroduced, but not immediate execution.
To prevent any miscarriages of justice, the sentence could be:

" You have been found guilty of murder. You will go to prison for a period of 5 years.
If, during that 5 year period, no further evidence is produced to prove your innocence you will be executed 5 years from today."

Then let the bastards count the days down.

Of course I don't believe everybody in council houses are on benefits.

For some, it's their first chance to get on the property ladder.

However, a very small percentage of council tenants actually work.

The majority give the minority a bad image.

But it's not about punishment, it's about rehabilitation.

It's why we have do-gooder groups like liberty etc.

Just because a prisoner commits a crime, he shouldn't lose his human rights. If a murderer murders and takes away not only the rights of a man but also his life, then he should still be entitled to his human rights, right?

It's about deterrent. We all know the honest people are deterred from committing crime as we'll lose of cosy home life we've built up.

The scum who commit most crimes are persistent offenders whose life is actually better on the inside than out.
