Imurg drags Fragger out of Raging Torrent

Im really surprised that the Chubby one hasnt posted this up yet.

Playing the 9th at Aylesbury Park today with CVG
Its a 410 yard par4 SI 3 with a stream running across the fairway about 75 yards from the green.

Fragger duffs his third shot neatly into the ditch, which was quite steep and lots of wet stuff in it.

While searching for his ball, Fragger looses his footing and slips in, ending up flat on his back on the steep bank,with his feet in the water, and slowly sinking further in.

After the bastards had finished laughing, Imurg dragged a bedraggled Fragger out and left him to dry in the sun

He then took a drop and landed on the green.and continued with sloshing shoes and mud all up his trousers.

Earlier CVG had fallen over (again) when picking his ball out of a hole, he really needs to take more water with it

I also managed to lost a ball on the 15th Par 3 163 yards
Hit an 8 iron in which went quite high and a tad left of the green and obviously plugged deeply as it was never seen again, even though all 3 of us spend several minutes searching.

Imurg played like a tart, but still managed to beat me by 1 point
CVG won with 30 points, Imurg 26, Fragger 25

Fragger had 6 , yes 6, that is SIX blobs, still managed 3 proper pars, just got to get that flow going again

anyway it was quite nice out there after the frost had gone and the sun came up

Reason I havn't posted is coz I'm still wetting myself laughing. It hurt, it really hurt.
And watching CVG wallowing on the green was nearly too much. It's no wonder I played like a ****!!!!!

He never dived into any of the ditches at Ascot. I remember playing Silvermere once and somewhere on the back 9 I hit my ball right into some trees. I saw it lying on what looked like dried mud (it had been warm). Stood on it and bgan to sink into this quicksand like glutonous mud and literally couldn't move my legs. My mate pulled me out with a club but everything stank of that horrible methaney mud smell.

Way before then. Back in the late 80's when I imagine HTL was just a podgy little Taff baby
