at last, after a year of +0.1 or making the buffer zone I finally get on the right side of the stats. don't know the CSS yet but I finished net 4 under the SSS. It was the most relaxed I ever felt playing a medal and much of that must be down to my playing partners.

at that I left more than a few out there; two lost balls (one into the sun which no-one saw, and one I hit too well, through the green into the river), two three-putts, one in a bunker - when you add up the missed opportunities what could have been is staggering.

been away for a couple of days - business - so only just found out that I got cut 2.3, so down to 19.8.

couldn't believe the CSS was 70 (2 above SSS), there was no wind to speak of, very mild short-lived frost, lovely sunny morning.

just as well they do a Stableford adjustment as well or I'd be beating timgolfy to single figures
