what a prune.

i got an itchy wallet, went and stuck "best offer" down on a cleveland 56degree wedge to match the 52 i already have.

then i forgot about doing that this morning and walked straight into american gofl for a nosey and was lucky enough to find 2 lovely almost new cleveland tour wedges in the 2nd section 51 and 56, ofcourse i bought them immediately.

only to arrive into work and onto my computer to find i owe some fella 40-50quid for a wedge i no longer want haha

you guys ever done anything daft when your excited about buying new clubs?

Phil

I've just bought a Powakaddy cart bag on ebay from a guy in Kidderminster which was collection only.
I now have no idea how to get it up to West Yorkshire.
Any ideas would be most welcome!

Ask if there are any forum members in the Kidderminster area, when you find one invite him up for a free round of golf at your local course and put him up for the night, you ciould also chuck in a few drinks and a cooked breakfast just for good measure.

It's a million to one chance, but it might just work!

if you look on Parcel monkey, you can arrange a pick up from his address and delivery the next day. Pretty reasonable rates too. He would have to wait in for the pick up though, and they dont specify a time. Ive used it a few times for very heavy items, and they've always been great for me...

I am not far from Kidderminster and drive past Kidderminster to my course. I am playing at Breadsall Priory on the GM Centenary Society Day on July 27th so you could meet me there?

How does that sound?

sounds like a free cart bag to me? :)

Shamelessly knicked from another forum I use - We have a system called YD post. Advertise an item to be picked up and delivered, and ask if anyone is passing. Usually, any item can be delivered with a minmum of fuss. It builds a good rapport between forum members and may even lead to a pint or 2 at forum meets...just a suggestion like...

sounds like the start of a new Olympic event - The ebay relay.
Bigfoot to Breadsall, hands over to . . ., who takes it to his next event and hands over to . . .

opportunity here guys, how many hand overs will it take?
and how far will it go?

Thanks for all the suggestions lads.
I've managed to "source" a box from work which I'm sending down there, with Tufnells, for them to put the bag in and it's coming straight back.
Bigfoot, thanks for the offer but I'd have to wait 3 weeks to get my hands on it and that would be torture. :p
**Note to self - Do NOT bid on ebay after drinking.**
