If you could...

Isle of Skye, overlooking Glenbrittle beach with the Cuillin mountains behind. Heaven......wet, but heaven.

I don't forget the midgies!!!!

Love the isle of skye but the only propblem is when the weather is nice in summer it's torture with all the midigies.

Yeah I know :(, but we are in fantasy mode at the moment so the little bleeders don't count. :D

Either north berwick in east lothian or devon/cornwall. Both in lovely parts of the country, great places to bring up a family and top notch golf all around.

That said, where i am on the fylde coast i shouldnt complain!!

For me, it would be south east. Near channel tunnel and warmer weather.

I live about 6 miles from the Tunnel and you really do have to see the amount of freight lorries that we get round here. All the roads are as busy as hell. Also, the dear old Labour party decided that my home town could comfortably cope with thousands and thousands of new houses but I doubt that the infrastructure will be built to cope.

One good thing though Bob - Bexhill is at least an hour away!

Chris

Thanks for the tip.
Will go and pitch a tent in Steve Clifford's back garden in Cornwall instead.
Although thats a bit close to Eejit :(

being the perfect host, there's no way I'd leave Jan out in the rain :D

Instead of picking up my house I would flatten all the others within a 100 yard radius of my place especially the nosey gits across the road.

...pick your house up and move it anywhere in the UK where would you put it and why?

For me, it would be south east. Near channel tunnel and warmer weather.
Not too close to Bexhill though. Dont want bugger lugs phoning me up for games of golf every 5 mins.  ;)
for me down by the course at Dawlish warren.
have the little house all set up for retirement.
