Poor form continued today on the front 9 but luckily it was a game of doubles and me and my partner dovetailed OK to only be 1 down at the turn with neither of us playing that well. We played better on the back 9, we shot a combined -4 (2 birdies each and no bogeys) and turned the match around to win 1 up. First time in about 5 weeks that I didn't have to buy the pints so that was decent.
Not so decent was my Motocaddy trolley giving up on the 16th, motor is whirring away but the wheels won't turn even when lifted off the ground. Not sure if it's the motor or gearbox/axle that has gone and it has been making a noise for a few months now. Also not sure on the model year, I bought it in 2019 but it might be a 2017 model as the battery is square and the replacement batteries on the Motocaddy site for the M1 Pro are a different shape so not even sure if I can get replacement parts for it. Looking at the price of new trollies I might just need to get fitter and carry my bag.
