Oh, boy oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

Why do things never pack up and stop working 6 months apart! My laptop is dead and I'm just about to order a new one thanks to the help of a forum member, now my feckin TV has gone on the blink, just showing a blue screen.

Can someone link me to a decent TV deal please, £400 maximum spend. It also can't be a wall mounted number. All it needs to do is show me Sky Sports. Simples.
 
you've got about as much bad luck as me.....touch wood but the car hasn't fell apart of late,well the 106 hasn't but the punto is gone now thankgod.

you can get quite a lot of tele's for that kind of money these days,what size you going for?

get yourself a new mobile phone contract set up, laptop im using now free with my last contract and the 42inch flatscreen were watching now was with the wifes last contract
 
Tesco could be worth a look Crawford. I don't know how their prices compare to Currys, Comet etc. but any time I've looked they seem quite reasonable.

These things come in threes though mate. Our shower went on the fritz at the beginning of December followed by the fridge freezer just before xmas.

Thought we'd got away with the third one until " I " destroyed the washing machine last Friday when the missus washed my work clothes without ckecking that I'd emptied the pockets. :mad:
 
Might be a daft question but are you sure the tele has bust? My tele gives a blue screen as its not on the AV channel (using a scart input). Also check the scart connections.
Sounds to me like the tele is working but theres no input feed on the channel you have the tele set to.
If the tube is on its way out the picture should still be recieved but I would expect it to show varying shades of green.
BTW - I am not a profesional tele man - but its about the only thng I seem to get on with in doors!
 
If you have a mobile pphone contract that needs renewing you can hit the carphone warehouse and get a deal there. 32 and 40 inch tellys with some 2 year contracts. Only if you need a new contact though. :mad:
