I Don't Believe It!

Course was pretty damp in places but given the rainfall yesterday not surprised. Didn't bother and went to the range instead. Those I spoke to when I popped in afterwards said the greens were damp but not bringing anywater up as you walked on them and that it was the fairways that were a bit squelchy.

Mind you we are draining pretty well now and we've had a strong wind today so I'm confident the course will be ok (not great) for the stableford tomorrow. First comp of 2011 so looking forward to it

Our course was very wet today but playable.
Managed a respectable 6 over gross in the Winter League for 37 points with the inevitable 2 x double bogies grown in for good measure

Probably no handicap cut though as a lot of the tees were where our yellows normally are so CSS will no doubt be lower.
