Ok, it's getting to that time of year when being out on the course isn't quite so appealing so lets hear all those excuses for giving it a miss..........

I'd have been playing solo as CVG is having some plastering done and Fragger's under the thumb.
Bit rainy, chilly and windy - don't need to be out there solo in that
Plus I have to pack stuff for going up North for the weekend - In-laws Diamond anniversary.
Picking The Boy up from College at 3 then braving the M6😥😨

Going to keep away from the course again this weekend and focus on swing changes on the range

Not too fussed about being on the course this time of year

Today:- Course is like a swamp back nine. Dad's not well, so I'm off to make sure he's ok.
Saturday:- Duvet day with wife and grandson (6 yo) . We will be watching films ALL DAY. Yes ALL DAY !!!! We did it last year (without grandson) Brilliant day!!!!
Sunday:- Off to Salford Royal (9am appointment) to wifes head scan, just a check up to make sure everything's still ok. Then off to Cheshire Oak to buy some replacement Levi's for the ones that ripped. (I've got a voucher for £85 from Levis to replace them). Then back home for 5pm for a Sunday dinner being cooked by our son and his wife.

I think these are much preferable to golf in this weather.

Latest reason for not playing is because we have a new course manager who is bringing in buggy bans whenever it rains. We have virtually never had them in the past on our 9 hole course, so there was always somewhere to play.

My weekly excuses for the next few months are as follows:

Mon-Fri - Work
Saturday - Watching Local Rugby (Thats a code work for HID, it means im having a skinful with my old man)
Sunday - Work tomorrow so want a lazy day.

Sunday - captains drive in - shotgun and wasn't around in time to get name down for a team. Pub lunch calling
