howdoes my handicap come down or go up

Hi I play off 20 handicap and wonder how the committe lower or higher my handicap after a qualifying round with stroke play and stableford and what is the buffer zone how does the buffer zone work,my course is 3032yds par 35 out and 2838yds par 35 in ,thats off the white tees and help would enable me to check how my handicap is being worked out...thanks

You mark a card, hand it in and they put your handicap up. Sorry I dont know about coming down!

Every shot you score below standard scratch you will come down .3 of a shot in your case.every time you score over par you get .1 of a shot back simple
